1. Option number one is for those who are willing to have their registration done for the first time or who are already registered but want to check themselves on a specified day they can also click on this tab.
2. Option number 2 is for those who have already done the things mentioned in option 1, however due to some issues they are looking for rescheduling of their earlier registration.
3. Option number 3 is for cancelling the pre registration if there is a change of plan so that the slot can be occupied some other needful patients.
If you choose option number 1, that is New /Old pre registration, there will be two options further, that is, are you having a CR number or not.
PGI online registration for new patient
It means if you are a new patient then you will not be having a CR number, else you will be having one.
If you choose NO, that means, you are the first time visitor, when it is important to know here that for new patients only following departments free registration is available:

PGI online registration Old Card or Old Patient
If you are having CR number, then Online registration facility is available for following departments:

For other departments, you need to visit OPD physically.
2. Enter your valid mobile number and click on generate OTP, fill the OTP that you have received through SMS
3. Then fill all the relevant details especially marked with *
4. After selecting Department, a POP-UP window will be shown up, for choosing desired date.
Note- If desired date is not showing highlighted with green color, then again you need to call concerned department in PGI to know the schedule of OPD for that particular department. Contact details of all the departments PGI, is given in the followed post.
5. After filling all the details, click on Register and you will get a POP UP window showing your CR No. and confirming your date of appointment.
Moreover, you will receive your appointment details through sms on your registered mobile number.
6. You need to visit OPD counter specifically get into the line of the Online Registration, just show your CR number, pay the prescribed fees and collect your OPD card else your card will be rooted to the specified room which will be intimated to you at that time.
After that you can get yourself checked up with the doctor and further course of action will be given to you at the time of consultation.
